Why I'm Running - Christine Vitale 

For the past 5 years, I fostered a spirit of collaboration as a member of Fairfield’s Board of Education.  

 

Today, I am excited to announce that I am running to be your next Selectman. It is time for a new beginning. 

 

The last few years have been many things for many people, but I think we can all agree on one word: challenging. We have faced so many challenges in such a short period of time – the COVID 19 pandemic, national events that highlighted social injustice as well as divisiveness and discord right here in Fairfield.

 

Facing these challenges also presents us with new opportunities – to listen, learn, and collaborate, to prioritize and embrace positive change and to rebuild and re-envision what we want for our  future.

 

Together we’re better. Now is the time to face our challenges together to make Fairfield a better home for everyone. 

 

I look forward to earning your vote on November 7 and working with the Board of Selectmen to create more opportunities for the great town of Fairfield.
